Suttivelu passed away

Veteran Comedian Suttivelu had passed away today morning at 3.30 am in his home in chennai.He is suffering from severe illness from last one year and left last breathe on Sep 16th,2012.

Sutti Velu's original name was Kurumaddali Lakshmi Narasimha Rao,but made his debut as Velu in Mudda Mandaram in 1981. He was striked to comedy star with his role Sutthi in Nalugu Stambhalata directed by Jandhayla.From then he is being called as Sutti Velu.

Suthi Velu was born on August 7, 1947 and married to Lakshmi Rajyam and he is survived with three daughters and one son.He won Nandi award for Best Supporting Actor in Vandemataram.He has acted in more than 250 films till 2009 Sari Rekhaparinayam which was his last film.
