No more films for Samantha this year

The busy gorgeous actress Samantha is not ready to sign up any films further in 2012 as her call-sheets are already full and now, she has allocated her dates to mega director Shankar for a new Tamil film with Vikram in the lead that will also be dubbed in Telugu version.

The film is Shankar’s take on elections and the election commission. Shankar, who is known for his films for message-oriented movies, is coming up with yet another such film roping in Vikram and Samantha as the leads. The film will be produced by AM Ratnam under Sri Surya Movies.

Samantha has been so busy these days with films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Eega, Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu , Yevadu et al and recently the actress opted out of Mani Ratnam’s Kadal failing to give her dates. Moreover, director Shankar is said to have asked Samantha bulk dates and requested her not to allocate dates for other movies for which Sam obliged.
