Samantha finalized for Mani Ratnam movie?

Mani Ratnam was busy in finalizing the cast and crew for Kollywood actor Karthi's son Gowtham launch pad film from a while ago. Earlier, Akshara Haasan, Radha’s younger daughter Tulasi names were heard for the female lead roles, but it was later heard that Sonam Kapoor bagged role.

However, the latest we hear is Sonam who is busy with Bollywood movies failed to allocate her call-sheets for the movie and Mani’s whose next preference is Samantha has finalized her as lady lead.

Samantha already had a bunch of films like a film with Siddharth in Bellamkonda Suresh production, Mahesh, Venky’s SVSC, Nagachaitanya’s Autonagar Surya and despite all the busy films, Sam is ready to give her dates to director Mani Ratnam.
