No item songs, says Richa

Gossipmongers have been at buzz that Richa Gangopadhyay is doing an item number in Rowdy Rathore, the Hindi remake of Telugu movie Vikramarkudu. Rowdy Rathore directed by Prabhu Deva has Akshay Kumar as the lead. But Richa has rubbished off the rumors and said she was not doing any item numbers.

Richa Gangopadhyay informs she is not interested dancing for item numbers in films. “I only prefer performance oriented roles along with balanced glamour and I'm least interested in doing item numbers,” informs Richa.

She also rejected giving nod to Rowdy Rathore songs saying, “I wasn't approached by Prabhu Deva or Rowdy Rathore cast. In fact I haven't even met Prabhu Deva till date!”
