Pawan Kalyan to join on sets of HHVM from Sep 23rd
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is currently fulfilling his responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, which has led to delays in his period action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu. However, during a recent public meeting, Pawan assured his producers that he would resume work on his pending film commitments starting in the final quarter of 2024.
Staying committed to his promise, Pawan Kalyan has taken time from his political duties to return to the sets of Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part-1: Sword vs Spirit. The next shooting schedule is set to begin on September 23rd in Vijayawada. This schedule will feature the filming of a grand action sequence, overseen by legendary Hollywood stunt director Nick Powell.
Nick Powell, known for his work on iconic films like Braveheart, Gladiator, Bourne Identity, The Last Samurai, and Resident Evil: Retribution, will be bringing his expertise to choreograph this epic action scene. The sequence will involve over 400 crew members, including numerous junior artists and stunt performers.
Actors Nasser, Raghu Babu, Sunil, Abhimanyu Singh, and Ayyappa will also be participating in the shoot. Young director Jyoti Krishna, who took over the project, is sparing no effort to deliver a memorable cinematic experience. Since stepping in, he has been instrumental in providing regular updates on the shoot and new cast and crew members.
Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and Bobby Deol have been cast in key roles, while Nidhhi Agerwal plays the female lead. A. Dayakar Rao is producing the film under the Mega Surya Productions banner, with the legendary AM Rathnam presenting it. Music for the film is being composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani.

Mega hero Sai Durga Tej has collaborated with Hanu-Man producers K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, along with debutant director Rohith KP, for a high-budget action-packed entertainer. The film, with the working title SDT18, features popular Malayalam and Tamil actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead role. Sai Durga Tej will be showcasing a striking transformation in a mass avatar for the movie.
Recently, the team wrapped up an intense 15-day shooting schedule, which focused on high-octane action sequences choreographed by renowned stunt directors. This phase involved filming several thrilling stunts and dynamic fight scenes. The next schedule is set to begin soon, with the team currently constructing a massive set spread over 12 acres.
Produced on an extravagant scale, SDT18 is gearing up for a pan-Indian release across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi next year. The project is being bankrolled by Primeshow Entertainment, with further updates expected soon.
Raveena Tandon roped into Sudheer's Jatadhara
Actor Sudheer Babu is gearing up for his latest project, Jatadhara, a bilingual action drama being made in both Telugu and Hindi. The film's first look poster was recently revealed, garnering widespread excitement from fans. With a grand scale production, Jatadhara is set to hit theaters during the Mahashivratri festival.
In a noteworthy development, Bollywood star Raveena Tandon has been brought on board to play the antagonist. Her role is reported to be a strong, dynamic character, drawing comparisons to her impactful performance in KGF 2. This film marks her return to Telugu cinema after nearly a decade, her last appearance being in Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda.
Helmed by debutant director Venkat Kalyan, Jatadhara is described as a supernatural fantasy thriller. The movie is being produced by Shivan Narang, Prerna Arora, Nikhil Nanda, and Ujwal Anand. Filming is set to commence shortly in Hyderabad.
